Video games are electronic games that involve play controlled by the user with an interface device – such as a joystick, controller, keyboard, or motion sensing device – to generate the visual feedback on a video display device – such as a TV set, monitor, touchscreen, or virtual reality headset.
Plus, Video games offer enhanced audio feedback delivered through speakers or headphones, and sometimes with other types of feedback, including haptic technology.

Sony PlayStation
Sony started working on a new video games console before they split ways with Nintendo, but Sony eventually presented the new console in 1993 under the name PS-X, which eventually evolved into the Sony PlayStation.
Today, although some PlayStation games sell tens of millions of copies, Gran Turismo was the first one to ever reach 10 million units in sales.

Microsoft XBOX
Microsoft introduced the Xbox in 2001, and after only 3 weeks, a million consoles were in users’ hands.

Nintendo Switch
Nintendo released their new video games console called the Switch worldwide in 2017. The console is actually a tablet that allows you to “switch” between docked for a home console or carried as a portable device, thus making it a hybrid console. The wireless Joy-Con controllers, with standard buttons and directional analog sticks for user input, motion sensing, and tactile feedback, are attachable to both sides of the console to “switch” to handheld-style play.
