Tamiya 61061 1/48 Vought F4U-1D Corsair Plastic Model Airplane Kit

The F4U Corsair was once a powerful combination of speed and firepower and was once the mount of a large number of aces all through WWII. This kit depicts the F4U-1D variant, which was once first deployed aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers in April 1944. Distinctive features such as the upper pilot seat position, taller tailwheel, and wider propeller blades have been appropriately reproduced, and the model can also be assembled with wings folded. A pilot figure, drop tanks, and two forms of canopy windshield are included in conjunction with markings for 3 aircraft flown by U.S. aces.
