Monitor Individual Circuits without the Guesswork Add individual 50A sensors to your Vue to monitor up to 16 individual circuits — providing accurate energy use for the appliances and equipment that is important to you. No guesswork. No trying to discern energy signals from background noise. Just simple, easy, and accurate insight into your home. 50A sensors are sold one after the other and also sold in bundles with the Vue.	Measure Solar Net Metering without Extra Hardware Solar net metering is built right into the Emporia Vue. The simple Emporia iOS and Android app will show when and what kind of electricity you are consuming and when and what kind of excess energy you are producing back to the grid — giving you keen insight into the affect of your solar panels as they relate to your energy use.	Installs in the Electrical Circuit Panel of your Home The Gen 2 Vue installs in your house’s electrical panel the use of CT sensor clamps that go around your mains and the other circuits you wish to monitor. DIY instructions included, but a professional electrician is recommended. The Vue system is designed for field installation in a switch enclosure as per 312.8(B) of the 2017 NEC regarding Power Monitoring Equipment.

Do You have Metal Bus Bar Mains in Your Panel?

Our Flexible Current Sensor solution is now available on the EmporiaEnergy website. These current sensors are meant to replace the 200A main sensors that ship with Gen 2 Vues. They employ a bendable Rogowski coil with a 1.4” (36mm) opening that can fit around most bus bars or into tight spaces where a standard current sensors clamp cannot fit. Installing the Flexible Current Sensors is still dangerous, and Emporia highly recommends that installation be performed by a licensed electrician or other qualified professional.

Emporia Smart Plugs (sold one after the other) can be added to your Vue system to help you to not only monitor the energy of lighting and small appliances, but to also set timers, schedules, and turn them on and off from anywhere, any time with the Emporia app.
